Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 August 2026

1. Adults only

This website presents tobacco products and is intended exclusively for persons aged 18 or over — the legal age in Québec. By using the site you confirm that you meet this requirement. Tobacco products are harmful to health; the Club makes no health, wellness, or lifestyle-benefit claim of any kind.

2. No sale of tobacco

The Club does not sell tobacco products through this website, and nothing on the site constitutes an offer to sell. Cigar allocations are a benefit of membership governed by the membership agreement, provided at the Club’s premises in Québec and subject to all applicable federal and provincial legislation, including the Tobacco and Vaping Products Act (Canada) and the Tobacco Control Act (Québec).

3. Membership inquiries and RSVPs

Submitting an application or an RSVP does not create a membership, a reservation, or any obligation on the Club. Membership is granted at the sole discretion of the Club’s committee and is governed by a separate written agreement. Event seating is confirmed only by written confirmation from the concierge.

4. Accuracy of content

Tasting notes, pairing suggestions, scores, climate readings, and event descriptions are editorial content provided for interest. Third-party ratings are attributed to their source and may change. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and may be revised without notice until confirmed in a membership agreement.

5. Intellectual property

The Club’s name, crest, seal, artwork, text, and code are the property of the Montreal Cigar Club or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission. Product names and brands mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false information, to impersonate another person, to interfere with the site’s operation, or to submit automated requests. We may block access and delete submissions that breach these terms.

7. Liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Club is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Québec law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be brought before the courts of the judicial district of Montréal.
